... end is in Arizona. It was really high to look at from the top, which duly scared the living daylights out of mum as we went to peer over. She grabbed on to our belt buckles at the back of our pants to pull us back. ... shower before our tour left the lodge. I took a little longer in the shower than I realised and we missed the tour again. Unbelievable.

Just when we thought all was lost another open sided tour bus turned up. Apparently the other tour bus was full anyway but as we'd paid for our trip the hotel had arranged another vehicle to pick us up. We had scored a private tour of Monument Valley!
