... found all the streets we wanted but no houses there, mostly car parks and Macdonalds stores. It was nice to see some of the older buildings that would have been there in 1790-1850's when his ancestors lived there.
Did a lovely drive along the coast to Stranrear, flat seas and sunny most ofnthe time.
We have had rain on and off most days but the temp remains about 17-20° which is ok. It gets cold if windy though.

... the death of her parents. The castle is very elaborate and decorated with large paintings, silverware, china plates etc. the princess had many servants that cooked her dinner, helped her bathe. The servants were not allowed to be seen, they had to be invisible to the royal family. Lovely gardens surround the castle. We saw a Bavarian summer house. Look at the photo and you will see the walls and the roof are covered with pine cones. It looked awesome. ...
21st June 2015 This morning we woke up at 5:30am, ate bacon and eggs for breakfast then went for a walk around our little coastal village of Troon. Such a beautiful traditional village consisting of pubs and hairdressers mainly. Locals are very friendly and have awesome accents. Today is Father's Day ( needless to say Ian is happy about that). Bunston Castle has a golf course next door, so most people staying here will be golfers. There is a castle somewhere and we will look for that tomorrw.

... mall, you walk down the centre which is outside to access the shops, Hadn't realised Ayr was so big. We pass lots of Robert/Robbie Burns monuments, museum, cottage, pubs and even fish and chip shops named after him!!!! Our destination tonight is Girvan which is only a 21 mile drive which takes about 30 minutes. Girvan is a small fishing village about the size of Narrandera, Sadly though there is not much fresh produce available in the town, ...
