A sleep in this morning before we head out to the ferry for Ireland.
Jump off point is Troon on the west coast about 45 mins from Glasgow.
Passed by Royal Troon Golf Club which would have been beautiful playing today - no wind. The bunkers and rough look ferocious but the fairways are fantastic.

Well today I was getting the history lesson which probably came from them getting sick of me asking questions. The Arran heritage museum although small covers a lot if things such as farming machinery, war time effort and disasters the history over thousands if years and what it was like living here After we had explored all that we then headed for the cafe for a very nice lunch.
