... in the next room, and a man coughing. Sigh .... But we were tired enough and fell asleep after the shower. Good thing about this hotel was that the water pressure was good and the sink/tub drainage was good. Bed was comfortable and room was adequately clean. For just one night, it was OK.

Pray the day would clear up tomorrow! ...

Hey, I'm going to be in Italy for the next couple of weeks. Paul Saunders and I will be riding with a small group led by our friend, Eros Poli, from Sestri Levante (Cinque Terre, more or less) to Matera in the deep south. ... exploring Portland in the morning. The next day, we decided to try exploring the nature side of Portland. We drove up to Forest Park and hiked around for a couple hours, which also gave me a chance to break in my new hiking boots! Afterwards, we returned to Wynee's to do some laundry and prepare to entire back into the city. We browsed more shops in the Pearl District and walked toward the north side of Portland.
