Well here we are at the FAM CAMP at Fairchild AFB. This was the 1st place we stayed when we started our epic adventure last year. We came up 95 & 195 so were only on I 90 about 1 1/2 miles until we cut of to the base. Once again it was a beautiful drive and good roads. The base is dead as it is a 3 day holiday.We had lost track of time and had no idea of the holiday.

300 miles, from Redmond to Post Falls Idaho. Very hazy day today driving through Eastern Washington, we could see multiple fires to the east.

We're heading east fairly quick, the plan is to make Yellowstone by tomorrow. So far so good!

... mesh lids so we could at least roast marshmallows and Amy could fine tune her s'more prowess. Trust me, this is now science. I would recommend this KOA to anyone traveling through Spokane and needs to overnight. Very well run and professional. Just thought I'd throw that in for the fellow camper/Farkels in the group. One more night of life on the road, hopefully in Birch Bay by 6 or so tomorrow. That's it, JB has Spokane enough for now. I know, cheesy but ...

Drive to Spokane

... It's different being 2 hours behind everyone. We got to spokane around 6 pm. We went shopping for food for the next two weeks and washed clothes for the first time. I forgot how good a clean pair of socks felt. For dinner we ate at a panda express that gave us way too much food. We took a shower for the first time in 3 or 4 days and prepared for the next day. Tomorrow we drive to the North Cascades National Park. We're going to be camping in the back country for 4 days. Watch out ...
