    ... I find out there is a lot of air traffic in Manila and the flight has been delayed four hours. Seems like I will be taking off as the New Year's fireworks are exploding. I came across a 'lactation station' in a corner of the airport and since there were no mothers around I curled up and slept on one of the lounges. Heaven in hell :).     The temple offers a scenic view of the city of Cebu, as if providing protection from uphill.

    After spending about an hour in the temple, we drive all the way across Cebu over Mactan, to Lapu Lapu. We visit the statue of Lapu Lapu, the chieftain of the locals in Philippines, who fought, defeated and killed the portugese explorer Ferdinand Magellan.
