    ... a belta of a night. Perfect dance music. We met some other crazy dance folk and even a guy we called Brian. He didn't look like our Brian, and probably wasn't called Brian, he was just a good guy, having a good time. We missed our Big B (we had heard today that Big B, Big G and Mally had booked their flights to Bangkok to meet us for Christmas - we were excited!!!) Lights up at 3am.     ... Why are customs today so fussy about an apple or
    golf-shoes in one’s luggage? But the park is charming, river Avon winding
    through it. Then we heard and saw the local brass-band in white/red uniforms

    ... helping us transport our kayaks around, put together all our safety equipment, giving us vital advice about the race and putting us in touch with other competitors to train with.
