    ... the window. A couple minutes later the couple (Luke & Laura ) come in and ask us if we would like to be witnesses to their wedding!? Of course we saw yes. So we headed to the registry office and watched them get married. We spent the rest of the day celebrating with the newlyweds going to a old skool saloon type bar and karaoke.

    What a way to end our time in Brisbane :)

    ... br> Parking Newcastle airport is more expensive than Sydney and there are no pre-book facilities.

    Flight was less than 90 mins and Brisbane airport is 15km north-east of the city centre and has an Airtrain to the city (www.airtrain.com.au).

    We were staying in a boutique B&B not far from the airport and apparently a cab would set us back around A$40 to go 10 mins, so we arranged pick-up in advance with ...

    bad reaction. Swollen and bad blister type rash all over my face. A
    quick trip to a doctor in Townsville to remove the tick and for
    medications. It took nearly 2 weeks for symptoms to subside and I was
    left with skin peeling from my face. Not an experience I would like to
    repeat. But despite this we enjoyed our time away from the city and the

    ... s famous creatures! We spent that afternoon at another pretty local park, reading and relaxing with Jess, Chris' labrador. After a yummy stir fry and a funny game of Cards Against Humanity, we walked to a new bar a short distance from Chris. We enjoyed drinks under the fairy lights in the open aired court.
