      We had clean clothes, now we needed clean bodies. We had been having good luck at finding YMCAs for a good price so we headed to the YMCA in Cranston. It was 10$ each for the day pass but an amazing lady who was working there decided to let us use her guest passes so that we could go in for free. Maybe she smelled us and took pity?       ... sunshine.
      Back onto the Interstate for a brief crawl (it was rush hour) to West Haven, our final Super 8. This joint is not located in the best quarter of West Haven, being characterised by very large lorries, lots of boat yards and a sticky, oily smell to the air. The motel itself was not much better, with a lingering reek of cat's wee about the corridors. It also seems to serve as a knocking shop, rooms by the hour if you know what I mean!! ...
