... a beast!

It took us 1.5 hours to walk around the shopping complex alone. Due to only having shorts and t shirt on we were unable to enter the game floor but it had an open roof so was able to see the the floor from above. This place is crazy! oh and expensive.....

Time now approaching 6.30pm, we decided to start to head back to the ferry terminal. We took a bus back across onto the north island and back to the ferry terminal where we was lucky ...

Bob and Lea had not seen much of downtown HK so we decided that the boys and girls would go off separately. Kaz & Lea went shopping to Wan Chai & the Terraces and checked out the subway trains.

Later that afternoon, Rob & Bob headed off. Picked up Rob's sports coat then explored some of the back alleys, and rode the trams home.

... fishy. LOL they have fresh water tanks in the lobby so that people can choose what to eat or buy. I let them order because, well really I can't read the menu. If I order chicken, I don't know what part of the bird I might get. Well, the food way awesome. So much better that the Hunan one, only for the fact that this one did not burn a whole in my stomach. As Adam was explaining the dishes, Mr. Dai kept putting food on my plate. I thought he was doing it ...

... Hong Kong is certainly expensive at British prices but with weather like today, clear blue sky's and 35 degrees its much more pleasant. Hong Kong is weird all over china I have had 3G Internet access, Hong Kong - none !!! China - water for sale everywhere - Hong Kong - none !! And the crowning straw I could not change £ sterling into Hong Kong $ whereas every corner you could in china !! Money exchange places are far cheaper ...

... it was fascinating reading about what had happened to HK during the war. As with all commonwealth cemeteries it's maintained to a very high standard by the War Graves Commission. I found it very poignant - headstones revealing a 75 year old woman who died under the occupation, her 20 year old grandson killed in action. From here we went to the Ladies Recreation Club to enjoy the pool and Simeon and Jo's hospitality. Vietnamese for supper and now to ...
