... fruit, very tasty bacon, sausage, eggs benedict, SOS, etc. We each selected a few items and sat down for a very tasty meal. As we were eating, they continued to prepare the several stations for the brunch/lunch crowd that was now starting to pour into the place. They had a carving station with a huge prime rib sitting on the carving board, fresh shrimp, pastas, seafood, and the list went on and on and on.

... for the Irish meatloaf that was spotlighted on DDD. Both of us were pleased with our selections. As we were finishing our meal a group of five musicians set up and began playing Irish music. Wish we would have stayed longer, but….

We then drove back to the coach, got the chairs out, met one of our neighbors, later had some cheese and crackers, and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Tough job, but someone needs to do ...

... this is a quiet stop! No trains or roads for miles. The only sounds are fish called Croakers. They make croaking noises underwater that get amplified by our hull. The actually sound like underwater frogs.

We had our friends from Iowa aboard for dinner and met a couple other cruisers on their way to the North Channel in Georgian Bay.

It looks like good sleeping weather ...

Jim, Jennifer from the Gray Fox and I biked to town and toured the Remington Firearms Museum. Eliphalet Remington built his first rifle here in 1816. There is a very large Remington factory in Ilion today. On display in the museum are historic Remington shotguns, rifles, and revolvers as well as 15th and 16th century guns from Europe and China.

... an audience causing to have a 3/4 hour wait in the Sistine Chaple at the end of the tour for St Peter's Bascilica to open - no hardship at all as meant we had more time to admire the magnificent artwork of Michaelangelo in the Chapel. No photography allowed in the chapel so have committed that experience to memory only although will see what images I can download off Google.
