      ... here is Mormons. (If that is a name for that religion?) In salt lake we noticed quite a few people holding up signs asking for money. At shopping centres, in parking lots and at traffic lights on the side of the road. Considering salt lake isn't a big city it's quite surprising to see how many people there are doing that.       Today is one of the high mileage days of our trip, driving from Brian Head UT to Salt Lake City UT, but first heading to the Bonneville Salt Flats. We were planning to get up at 800am, but we were both awake earlier so we figured we might as well get up and head north early, that would give us more spare time later in the day.

      ... drive to Grand Tetons National Park was short, about 12 ks away. On the way we stopped to see all the Elk at the National Elk Refugee. The Tetons Mountains are a pretty impressive sight. Stopped in the park so we could walk on a frozen river. The ice was very thick, so no chance of getting wet.
