... travel weary & a bit bedraggled feeling on Wed. evening 6/3.
So thankful for this amazing & beautiful 8200 mile trip without any serious problems!
Our little TAB thor camper was the talk of the trip - bringing us to meet many interesting & friendly folks wherever we stopped - even stopping at a red light, a conversation might get going!
Now - where to ...

... surely be the largest "South of the Border" theme park anywhere just as we were leaving South Carolina.
The weather continues to be beautiful and luck must be with us as the locals tell us that they have had days of rain!
Tomorrow we drive into Richmond, VA, the Capitol of the Confederacy and will settle down for our first two day ...

... for a view from the riverbank. Fortunately, there was a tremendous number of spring beauties blooming along the trail here. After some pictures of the pretty little flowers, I hiked back up to the Raven Rock Loop Trail and continued the loop. ... 2014 four endangered species Kemp Ridley turtles were rescued in the cold beach & ocean in Boston. They were taken to South Carolina Aquarium Sea Turtle Rescue Program. The caretakers had their own names for them....Scabby, Holey, Squishy and Scales (named) for the injuries they had. After six months of rehabilitation they were released back to the ocean at Canaveral National Seashore and we were part of it.
