... Town of Hallstätt is directly below and the end of the lake is surrounded by mountains. Could see where we have to go tomorrow, but just enjoyed the view. ... a bit out of the way for getting to Salzburg but many pretty scenes, houses and mountains were evident on the road there. This little town is very pretty indeed – high, snowy mountains and a great big lake. Plenty of pretty little houses also.
