A Hundred Places in 36 Hours
... ve decided that the Alps are one of the prettiest landscapes in the world, especially when dusted with snow and you can see little towns below the mountains.... We ended our trip with Scheidegg, Germany which is a pretty little town with nice cafes and rolling hills and looks very old European. After picking a really nice cafe with antique china and eating good coffee and cake we left the Bodensee and Alps behind and traveled back to Winnenden.

Our last day of riding
... tyre was the last thing we needed today.
There was no traffic on the road so getting out of Genoa was very easy, when we reached the outskirts of Genoa we had a magnificent view of the mountains behind the city and they were covered in snow! It was awesome and a great view to start our final day on our bikes.

We head south now out of Munich towards the Alps. Last time we were here we hit the Autobahn and never looked back, this time we're enjoying a more leisurely pace, as we cruise the RomantishStrasse through sleepy German villages. Bad Reichenhall to Lindau
We headed up for breakfast and Heidi had a map printed out for us and let us know that the autobahn we were going to take towards Switzerland (through Austria) was partly closed today for 12 hours so we would have to go through Munich and then head down to Switzerland from there.
