    ... extremely colorful.

The weather was stunning, hot and clear and we decided to
spoil ourselves with a Pizza in the sun at one of the many restaurants.

And then back onto the train for the return trip to Sion and
our camp where we spent the late afternoon swimming in the local lake and
    sucking on a few “frosties”.

    Our first real “RELAXING DAY”.

    braai.

this planet this wonderful Swiss railway company put on not only 1 but three
extra trains behind this one to cater for the large demand of passengers.
The railway knew we had a booking of 40 people and so even reserved and
labelled up a separate coach for us to travel in.
All on board and we are off up the edge of this mountain on train no 4. As

... Saturday activities, including their Saturday market. It was a quick visit but enough before heading back to our home away from home. I’ve mentioned it before in writings; cruising is not for everyone, but those who do, find the unpacking once and then leaving the ship to visit the destinations is the only way to go.

What I find in escorting these tours to Europe, a consistent emotion I have, is the results of the wars. Some of these ...

... up has been absolutely amazing.

Our next stop is Eismeer. We stop there for 5 minutes, we keep hoping for a shift in the clouds but not very lucky today. Apparently the weather forecast was only bad for just one day, today. A shame but the experience of being up here so far into the mountains and glaciers is one we could not have missed anyway.

Okay, so updating..........well, what a day, it's 6pm and we still have a bus ride to get back to Lauterbrunnen where we ...
