    Left at 9am and decided not to take any toll ways. We had a great trip across the Swiss Alps, wouldn't have missed it for anything but it obviously took a long time. The scenery was truly magnificent and photos would never do it justice, plus it was often impossible to stop on the winding roads.     We caught the train back to Interlaken and back to our hotel. It dawned on us at some point in time that we needed to eat "fondue" sometime. Well, tonight was the night! The lady at the desk told us the best place for fondue and we set out to find it. 15 minutes later, we were seated ordering fondue. Fondue is old school back home. 1970's stuff. In fact, we got 2 fondue pots as wedding gifts in 1974!

    ... to Sustenpass, through the clouds, around some very tight hairpin corners, along a narrow 2 way road with some amazing views. Wow what a country!! It was exciting, but a bit scary in places and best not to look down!! We went through the tunnel at the top and out onto the other side, here the sun was shining and the cloud had cleared for a while anyway.
