      ... trains and went down to Lauterbrunnen to change out of the ski boots and I was to catch the train an hour later and meet Ruth in Wengen. I managed to take a number of lifts but was cutting it fine for the train so I skied down to the railway station above the Innerwengen chair lift and only caught the train for the last bit.

      After this we looked around Wengen for a while before catching the train back and heading to the hotel for a freshen up and ...

      ... per person, gulp!) whilst we (well Liz, are not meanies, it just doesn’t seem like good value when you can get a 3-Day unlimited pass including one trip to the Top for CHF 235 or less if you have a Swiss attractions discount card. We have finally decided that we should come again and stay longer with better organisation to increase the value for money. Maybe a multi-centre holiday is the way to go with a minimum of 5 days at each point on the itinerary? (Who Knows?)

      ... and then it sounds like a gun shot, but it is ice or rocks falling from the cliffs. It is such a peaceful walk with amazing views and crisp clean air. Oh how good it is to be alive!

      I arrive in Lauterbrunnen and take the train to Interlaken where i walk back to my chalet. It will be an early night tonight. I am feeling a little worn out, so i will rest up tonight.

      Tomorrow is meant to be another sunny day, but snow is expected the day after
