... round the corner to the cafe next to Bar 37 (can't remember name) for an afternoon of beers and tasty lunch of bolognaise and Wiener schnitzel. We sat under parasols in the pouring rain, chatting about this n that and then reading Austria's history through the Lonely Planet Guide. What an afternoon! Hard to believe this place is apparently "Ibiza-esque" in ski season according to Lonely Planet!! We called it a day about half 3 and headed back to the ...
We were woken at half 4 by rain and thunder so we brought Prego in. We dropped back off to sleep before being awoken again at 6ish by another storm. On our last night in Germany, we were woken at half 2 by an awesome thunderstorm. Had we not been bleary eyed, we'd have watched it! But instead we just brought Prego inside and fell back to sleep, enjoying the air finalły cooling. A leisurely pack up but still on the road for half 9... To Austria! An uneventful drive to the border where we stopped to buy our vignette. We both said it was the first time it felt official entering another country; shame we didn't ...
