    ... Orava Castle, reputed to be the most beautiful castle in Slovakia.

    We hope to find lodging near to the castle so we can visit on foot tomorrow. We first see the imposing 12th century edifice from a sweeping viaduct that takes traffic past the town.     ... we got to the cave. He warned us it would be very difficult and slippery so those who didn't think they could do it should stay back and wait. We all went. In order to get into the cave we had to climb up a ladder. Then there was a chain bolted to the cave walls that we could hold onto and pull ourselves up.     ... Off we went. I had my usual spot, bringing up the rear! About 30 min. later, Sharon questioned whether we were on the correct trail and it was determined that we were on the red trail. Oops! This was a longer and harder trail, so we walked back almost 30 min. to get on the yellow.

    ... so worth it for the great views (not to mention the free wine!). After the boat cruise we went to a nearby bar called Instant. Instant is a ruin bar which is a huge trend in Budapest of turning old ruins into modern bars and I really liked it. Others went onto a rooftop bar but after such a long day (and wearing extremely painful new shoes) I returned to the hostel for a good sleep.
