... saunas, water slides and plenty of playgrounds for kids. It’s a lovely set up. (Again it was pretty packed). Isabelle and Zac had a ball, they absolutely loved it! We were there for 4 hours, and that left us pretty tired, both kids fell asleep on the way home.
Another fantastic day, and the kids will sleep well again!

In the late afternoon the sun was out and shining bright, so we went for a ride on the funicular, to the mountain known as Gubalwka (which is 1100m above sea level). We enjoyed the stunning views, babcia and the kids even took time out to rest on the mountain top beach. A really enjoyable day.
... Otherwise no change...mood still low!!! I've taken to the bottle to compensate....
Did stop at an aircraft museum, lots to see but as all the writing was in Czech I'd no real idea what I was looking at. Pretty much all the aircraft were in a poor state but still interesting all the same!

What a beautiful country!
Mountains, and more mountains, and wood and trees, and so much beauty all around. We walked around one of the villages that had been restored totally to the Baroque style of architecture.
Slovaks become part of Hungary for 1000 years.
1918 Czechoslovakia, country created where the Czechs and Slovaks joined up to break free from Hungary. The USA played a leading role in putting these two kingdoms together.
