    ... We ran into Maureen twice while walking around the shopping area.
    We did find the items we were wanted, along with a few used books from the charity shop and custard tarts from Teale's bakery - something Paul misses almost as much as fish and chips and pork pies.

    ... up and we were home by mid afternoon.

    Paul and I went for groceries and put dinner together, Jill and Gary, who flew out a couple of hours after us for a vacation in Yorkshire will stop by tonight to see us before they head off to the Lake District for a couple of days, When they return, they will stay with Barbara for a week before going back to Jersey.

    I suspect Barbara will be ready for a little peace and quiet after we all go ...

It has shops, restaurants and tourist attractions, including seven evening ghost walks and tours and was mentioned in the Domesday Book, making it Europe's most well-preserved medieval street.     ... As it turns out he cleaned up our top four and ended up with six wickets for the game to completely demoralise us. We were bowled out for 145 in reply with only Adam really applying himself at the crease. It was bound to happen that I would miss out making runs but it doesn't make me feel any better knowing nobody else stood up in place of me.
