We are now moored up in Hemingford Grey where we used to live, ready for the Regatta later today. It is the oldest village regatta in the country and only residents of Hemingford Grey and Hemingford Abbots can take part in the rowing, canoeing or punt races. There are 170 - 180 races planned for all ages from 7 to 70, so it should be a great day, especially as the weather is playing it's part as well.

Left car and cases behind - just us and our rucksacks heading to Luton for our 6am flight to Berlin tomorrow ! ...

And I love home life so I can't complain too much. Replenished my toiletries, watched the walking dead, got some dollars, and had a lot of lovely meals, kebab, pizza, sausages, ...

Cambridge is one great example of architectural history after another. 800 years all within walking distance of each other.
Late morning. We walked around looking at the town and for a place to eat until G got so hungry that he bolted for the first Anatolian restaurant he came across. Had a nice meal. Went back to rest for a bit before G checked into the Porter's house at Churchill. Nice student accommodations, more roomy than ...

Just a final write off for my trip to Oz. The journey back was pretty uneventful but insanely long. Due to strikes at Heathrow when I landed, the plane was half empty so I managed to get an entire row so sleep along on the way back (and we got Magnums as clearly no ...
