      ... one portion of food to share between the two of us as we would just waste if we ordered more. This does get us rather strange looks from the locals as they tuck into their mounds of food.

      As much as we wanted to head out and explore jetlag had finally hit and we decided to head back to the hotel to rest it out with the assumption that after a quick nap we would be ready to go again. This didn't happen and by 7pm we were both fast asleep.

      Oh well, just more to do ...

      I was up nice and early to make my way to New Jersey to meet a friend I have been chatting to for a year or so. He planned to show me around New Jersey and take me to Kevin Smith's (director of Clerks and Dogma) comic book shop. After a nice bus ride I met up with Oscar.       ... Kate and the leader of the session to a tower block which housed people who used to be homeless - it was a bit of an eye opener. Apparently the routes the other volunteers went on took them around beautiful rent controlled flats so I’m hoping I get to experience their routes next time.
