... I was out already, did a bit of a bar crawl, had some food and watched the ceremony in a bar called Sidelines. Had a great time with the very excited Americans. I even got a bit watery eyed at one point. I though it was really touching that most of the Americans in the bar stood for the British national anthem. The general consensus was that the ceremony was a huge success. I was VERY proud to be a Londoner. Danny Boyle did London proud.
