Przeżycia ostatnich dni odcisnęły w naszych sercach i umysłach naprawdę głęboki ślad. Kiedy tyle emocji i radosnych chwil przebiegnie przez twoje wnętrze niczym stado bizonów przez zieloną łąkę Yellowstone, to staje się to nieodłączną częścią ciebie …

Another awesome day in the big apple. The weather again fantastic. It wasn't as cold as yesterday but still cold. It was sunny all day. Today we spent most of the day at Central Park. Firstly we took a pedicab tour around the park. The riders explained the history of the park and showed us where movies were filmed. It the best way to see the park in my opinion. A man tried to tempt us in by asking if we were hungry or sober, as he could fix both lol. We ended up eating there and the food was delicious. The door man was a great guy and we ended up talking to him for ages after tea- one of those magic moments you can't plan. Today was full of those moments, really. ...

... watching the sights. We arrive at Staten Island and walk through crowds of waiting runners and get into line for the buses that will take us to the start line. There are thousands of people here. They are filling up about ten buses at a time than the next lot come straight in, it is very organised, but it was the worst bit for the runners as we were lined up outside in the wind and cold. So glad I packed my hand warmers and old warm clothes now. Finally, after a long wait I ...

... the time we left about 6pm the queues were growing. The building is open until 2am 7 days a week. Most other things close surprisingly early at this time of year. We walked home and got changed. It was 7.30 and we walked to Jolanta's, and caught the underground to Greenwich Village. It's a name not a distinct physical village, but it's character is different to midtown where we are staying. It's low rise and one of the places where the locals go to eat and drink. So we were keen to ...
