... Ok, so 2 were mine, 2 were for others back in Aus*

Then it was off to the seaside. Ronaldo took us the 20 kms from Petritoli to the Adriatic village of Cupra Mattima. Very nice historic township with a beachside strip that very colourful and bright, bit like Miami Vice !!! We had a delectable seafood pasta ,crisp white wine, laid on deck chairs on the white sand with the Adriatic gently lapping in the warm breeze - happy!!!

The Michetti family's Pompeii. Still standing after well over a century, the house is a representation of where the journey started for Rudolfo Michetti. We learned that Rudolfo did not actually live here, but this is where his father Guiseppe was born. No ...

... But, they had our car with automatic transmission just waiting for us when we got there. Or not. Went from a relatively spacious Audi A3 to a Toyota Yaris. I asked where the giant shoe horn was to get us into this thing -- blank stares. 3. Driving to Alba Adriatica. Once in the car, it was a good drive. Some storms passed through, but those were cool to us Californians. Lisa and I both remarked how different the landscape is than what we are used ...
