The tomb of the unknown solider pays tribute to all of the unidentified soldiers that died and were buried in the Korean, WW1 and WW2. Sergeants of the army chose one unknown solider from each war and sent their bodies to Washington. ... see them in one of our photos. Note the snipers on the roof. As we pass along one of the streets the traffic builds up and everyone notices lots of cop cars, dog squad and cops on foot around. We soon find out why. Apparently 15 minutes before the President goes past the cops go out first and stop all the traffic at every intersection. We actually saw the end of the cavalcade as it went past out intersection (about 6 cars up). What a surprise. ...
