... were a lot of people but still you could get some nice shots on your own and the place is stunning like an amphitheatre . We swam out into the bay and the water is turquoise. The kids played in the white sand and we took some nice photos. I explored a little and found an amazing crab clinging to the cliff. We chilled for a bit but then were off for some snorkeling.

I booked my hotel in Phuket based on its google map location to the pier. It was in the downtown area of Phuket. I saw only a little of the Phuket downtown, but it was very similar to Bangkok, so I would not recommend stopping there.

... dark and hard to walk through, but worth the $1. On our way back to the beach, we had to pass an area filled with garbage cans. Well the cans must have just got new garbage in them, because the monkeys had taken over. These weren't nice monkeys either. They literally took up the entire walkway and we couldn't get through. A local came walking by and scared them a bit with her umbrella, but advised a bunch of us to take another ...

... day pretty much my plan was to head to the shopping centres and look for a camera lens, as I hadn't had any luck back in Krabi. I was given the directions on how to get to the large shopping centre just outside of Phuket Town and headed off. Just around the corner from my hotel was the Phuket Bus Station and from there the local songtaews waited to take people in different areas. I found the one which was heading to the shopping centre and got in and waited till we left ...
