... at Meroom, quaint little place they give us slippers so we can remove out shoes at the bottom of the stairs. We get in to the room and the shower/ toilet is just a glass box very visible when lying in bed... Interesting!, after smothering insect repellent a little catch up with messages and a look at the surrounding area on google maps and its off to bed at 10pm (2am Melbs time) Nighhhhhttttt ...

... and pointing out restraunts that we should go too. I just couldn't take my eyes off how much beautiful people there was nevermind food to eat... That's a first, normally it's my belly first before anything!! We got to our hotel/guesthouse and was greeted by pretty much the happiest Thai wifey you'll ever meet. Her name was Miss Li/Lee/Leigh (however you spell it) and she had the biggest smile ever. Even though I told her my name was Jo she insisted on calling me Leanne god ...

... going to keep an open mind about the place. The plan to get there was a 1 1/2 hour ferry journey from phi phi port into Phuket. On the way we planned to drop letters in a bottle into the ocean as a tick off the bucket list. The night before we ran around all the mini marts in search of bottles we were going to use. ... of Viking Cave. Here, there are prehistoric cave paintings and is where they collect edible bird droppings for birds nest soup. The Thais believe that drinking this will in turn make them younger looking. That's gotta be the biggest hoax I've ever heard. Sorry, but I'm not drinking any poop from any creature given its so called reverse effects!
We were told on the way that we could not enter Maya Bay the way they typically do during high season. The currents were too strong ...

... mouthful was to die for, also it was a nice treat to actually dine out with my mad fruity friend.
We floated home in the hot evening, skipping massages tonight and just enjoying looking at the town come into full swing as it does every night.
