... rang. Very sorry but rain is coming so A la carte reservation cancelled. Who knew the restaurant was outdoors. Somewhat disappointed we went down to the dining hall and eventually found a table, again adequate food but nothing special. We took a short walk around the shops in the evening avoiding the live band in the main bar area. This even managed to drown out the neighbouring bar when we went up to our room. It didn't ...

Up at 6.30, first into breakfast - but not the only ones, then in reception waiting for our pick-up by 7.35. It was only a little late. Once everyone had been picked up our guide, Ebru in traduced herself and gave a very good introduction to the day and a good commentary for most of the journey. So much for going back to sleep. From the period of the Crusades is ...

... materialised. We made our way back to the harbour side and found a cache but didn't have a pen to sign the log. We were ready to head back to the hotel. The first water taxi lost out on our 20 lira as it had just started pulling away and the captain would not move back four inches to the quay to allow us to board. They tried to entice us onto the adjacent boat promising it would leave in ten minutes. We moved on. ...

    Spa day

A fairly good nights sleep. Luckily the noise from the nearby bar did not keep Barry awake so we may not need to move room. Woken 1/2 hour early by next doors alarm! Breakfast was better, last nights waiter lead us straight to a table and remembered our names. We both took advantage of there not being a queue for the omelette station - very nice. I added a sausage and a ...
