... it as a home rather than a castle.
Settled into a hotel for the night. Ten dollars more and I have my own room and bathroom. Heaven.
Quite hot and humid. Probably about 35 degrees. Makes walking hard and by the end of each day I feel quite exhausted. I see on the internet they are describing it as a heat wave in Japan and people are dying. However I wouldn't go that far.

After another formal evening dinner, we saw a show by an Australian singer, Tamara Goa in the La Scala Theatre, then checked at the 80's disco party on the Promenade, followed by music with Kinetic in Cleopatra's Needle before heading off to bed around midnight only to discover Roger has left us another animal.

... fireworks and some booze! Kochi City was having an immense Yosakoi festival (much bigger than the one I had just danced in at Aki) so we watched several teams show their immense talents, then we headed to Hirome, a local food court area where most foreigners meet up when visiting the City. Nach Kotohira fuhren wir ins Iya-Tal. Dort hat es viele Steilwände und Flüsse, welche sich auch zum River Rafting sehr eignen.
Anschliessend fuhren wir nach Kochi, wo wir übernachteten.


After Kotohira we drove to the Iya Valley. There are a lot of steep face and rivers where you also can go rafting.
In the afternoon we drove to Kochi, where we also stayed for the night.
