    ... quite a bit of strategy and good natured chatter. It looks like fun. I’d like to try it someday.

    The Matisse Museum was a disappointment. I’ve seen pieces I like of his but these were a stretch to fill a museum. Lots of sketches for the same picture, simplistic paper cut outs and nudes. We didn’t spend a lot of time there and caught a bus to the promenade along the beach.

    ... the first of three flights. Nice to Rome (11:20a.m.) -- layover time -- . Rome to Athens -- more and longer layover time. Finally Athens to Rhodes -- arriving around 10:50p.m. This is going to make for a very long day!....     ... t add up. Anyway, this turn of events was welcomed after our Ryanair debacle and late night hotel room scramble. The next morning we got up for an early morning hike to Saint Jean Cap Ferrat. This little hike is known for its views of the Monaco and Nice coastlines, as well as large villas along the way. We saw tons of people running along the trail which would help explain why French people are so skinny! For dinner, we went for a true French experience ...
