Beautiful, clean and newly renovated rooms. Staff were extremely, especially Maria who helped us with our car rental issues. Highly recommend the Gasthof Weisses Rossl!!!

... surrounding areas were beautiful, so it didn't really matter. The water was a crystal clear blue colour and the sky was spotless of any clouds. We walked all around the town, across the river and into the outer skirts. We took a bus tour around the city and went up to a massive park and out near where they have their winter sports stadium.
Come Boxing Day, however, the snow fell and it fell ...
... to get back up after falling over. We then went up the moving strip (where I had earlier fell off) and down the baby slope. It was fast and fun and we had to dodge children on toboggans who had no sense of direction. There were times when I could mauver around the poles like a pro and times when I just had to pull them out as I was going to mow them down haha.
By the end of our 2 hour lesson my legs were burning - a great 2 hour leg session I'd say! ...
Today is Boxing Day and after waiting longingly for the clouds to open and the white stuff to fall it finally has happend! At around 8:30am this morning the snow starting falling and it has not stopped. The whole town of Innsbruck has been transformed ...
... and beautiful church. Lit only by candles and accompanied by a grand organ and talented young fello on the xylophone the atmosphere for amazing. There was no heating, so the full 3 degrees outside was felt, lucky we had thought to wrap up before hand.
It was a beautiful mass spoken in German only. A lovely way to continue the Christmas celebrations.

Innsbruck Tourist Information offer the Innsbruck Card which offers you entry into all of the city's attractions at €33 for 24 hours, €41 for 48 hours and €47 for 72 hours.
