This morning we had brekky and then checked out of the Holiday Inn in Munich, and caught a Taxi to the Munich Hopbrauhof (Central Train Station). We boarded our first train to Ausberg where we sat for about 50 mins and then off we scurried with our bags, and boarded our awaiting train, to Zurich. We arrived in Isny today primarily as we have the Motorhome booked in at Dethleffs HQ for a Service and a few small warranty works. Rain and Rain on the Monday so didn't do much after arriving. Stopped to do some shopping. Supermarket would not accept any of our cards, as none issued in EC, whatever that is. Paid cash! That was a first!
Drove on to Ulm, Bavaria's second city. We parked at our first Stelplatz - a designated camping area for Motorhomes, like a car park, where water and waste disposal is available. Trams went past regularly but not enough to bother us. This Stelplatz was free. Slept ...

We had a lot of people come to speak to us about the van, including some real life (to us) cowboys!
We left the site and visited Ottenbeuren on the way out, we had been told by a local to go see the Monastery, it was an impressive building - one of the largest in Germany... She also recommended some other places to visit but we will come to them next..
