        ... path continues on around a large marshy meadow. On the opposite bank there are some rather swanky houses with river frontages. My phone appears to have thawed out and is now allowing me to take pictures again...albeit intermittently! Seems like it will take one photo before cutting out and demanding a return to my pocket for a warm up. :-) I pass a number of joggers, mothers pushing prams and...a rambler wearing shorts - is he crazy? Brrrrr! As the river curves its way back ...

        6 December - 10 January This part of our Grand Tour was the highlight for us and the part I was looking forward to because we were visiting Paddy and Mike and spending time with them.         ... too much and chatting with our neighbours. But it certainly beat the alternative of sitting out in the main concourse on hard chairs and having to pay for everything with only 45mins free internet.

        Our flight to Singapore boarded on time and the journey was fairly uneventful and we both managed to sleep/dose quite a bit. Our seats weren't anything spectacular so difficult to get comfy and have a decent kip. We arrived in Singapore ...
