South to warmer weather.
... had locals flying past us at incredible speeds. Many tunnels through this beautiful mountainous region - longest was 10.1km but there was another 8.3 km and many over a kilometre in length. Not great views but makes short work of the journey. Noted temperature climb to 16° inside longer tunnels and then plummet back to 0° once back into the open.

And we have wi-fi!
Been a hectic few days, and been unable to update due to having no internet at all!
But we are alive, despite the Stelvio Pass (and the far more terrifying pass that's on the other side).
At a pub in Slovenia now, with some other BoBers, so cant do a big update. If the hostel has WiFi I shall update with more information later tonight! ...
