... round. Our second week in Weihai didn't plan out as well as the first. We were supposed to have a different activity to do each afternoon but only managed to do one of them. On Monday we had our Mandarin lessons as usual where I managed to pick up the name of Hanzi Queen (hanzi being Chinese characters). ... it was time to bring the boats back onto the beach so we could pack everything away again. I have to say, it is a lot easier taking everything down than it is putting it all up. With the boats all clean and put away the bus had arrived to take us back to the campus. By the time we got back everyone was exhausted. We decided to give the beach a miss for tonight since it wasn’t that sunny anyway and head for bed.
... good nightlife. We were taken to a KTV on the outskirts of the city centre but decided against it as the price of beer was ridiculous. Not from where we were dropped off we managed to find a club. Once inside Oliver managed to sniff out the pole and was dancing on it before anyone had time to blink. The rest of the night still seems to be a bit hazy but it was a great laugh. I’m just glad that I left my camera in my room so there will be no embarrassing photos this time. ...
