So, da bin ich endlich wieder in Trier. Ich habe die letzten 2 Wochen gefühlte 20 kg zugenommen, wegen Weihnachtsessen und so (Mum wieso kochst du auch immer so gut?). ... much to our disappointment, there weren't any. But hey, I still hung out with the mayor...that's saying something...or so I'll keep telling myself. So to replace the lack of sandwiches, a small group of us stopped at a local restaurant before heading back to the hotel. A quaint little restaurant built under the bridge that goes over the river. ... guide was full of interesting information and facts. Our last stop of the day was all the way back south on the border of Lux and Germany to a winery. It was the largest winery in Lux and we walked through the facility and had a wine tasting afterwards. Thank you dad for teaching me how to properly taste wine, I was obviously the resident expert.
