    1st overnight of a 4 day trip

This was always one of my favorite overnights at Mesa. And I was excited to see that this company stays at the same hotel that Mesa stayed at. It's just a short walk to the beach, about 10 minutes or so. We got to the hotel and the captain and the first officer were going to go across ...

    Cake Sale

    ... and when
he drops it to around $10 I'll start the bidding and get it for
around $15, no one is going to pay that much for a cake. Hey it's for
a good cause, I'm all over this cake, I can almost taste it now. BAM!
    This thing starts going $25-30-40-60-80-100, 100, 100, $110 SOLD! I
have no words, my mouth is hanging open. What just happened here?
$110 for that cake? Did I miss that maybe Miss Jane was also cooking
a dinner to go with that cake? A joyful noise ...

never forget that you were here 3 hours already. I bow to your
greatness. The saga continues. We are now into the fourth quarter
with 20 seconds to go in the game, a little message pops up on the
bottom of the screen about inactivity for 4 hours and ...

... red and yellow. But no, the color caught my eye first. The perfect shade of pink; not too light and not “stop you in your tracks” neon, but just right. The laundry situation is starting to look a little questionable; shirts are being sprayed with Febreeze and laid out to freshen and would it hurt to have an extra shirt? I’m pretty sure I can still fit one more shirt in my luggage. I cave. It really is a great t-shirt! ...

... that are more easily learned by "hands on" experience than explanation.

A first occurred for us at Little River Bridge, a mile before our destination. We were the solitary boat and were about 10 minutes past the bridge's normal hourly opening. I was prepared to patiently circle while we waited for nearly an hour for the next opening. Boaters who know this bridge will be amazed at what happened ...
