... some fantastic photos but it seems my camera and I are no longer together which is a massive bummer.
We went for a sneak around the university grounds which were very quiet as it was holidays. We were sort of rushed to get to Edinburgh for the night so we didnt give it as much time as we could have.
Definitely will head back there before we leave Scotland.

A wee trip to Scotland for Hogmanay
... at Eilidh's we popped over to Edinburgh to see Ben and spend new year there. Ben took Kelly and I on a tour of old town where we took in the sights at the royal mile! I was really impressed with Scotland on New Years eve. The streets were relatively clam and it was so easy to leave where we were at 1140 and walk to a bridge to see the fireworks! 35. The Glen
... with all the rain. So no Highland cows for us. But we did have a traditional smoked fish soup, Cullen Skink. Nom nom. Perfect in winter weather.

That night we drove to Edinburgh to go out for dinner with Audrey, her son Murray (it was his 19th bday), and her daughter Lou. Edinburgh. WOW. Such an amazing city! THe castle plonked on top of that cliff is just mind blowing. I couldnt stop looking at it! Had a beautiful chinese meal, then more drinks out after dinner with some of Lou's friends. ... a ride back to my hotel where I am currently collapsing!
Tomorrow I am headed back down to London where I will spent one more night before embarking to France via Dover and Calais. I don't qite know how the timeline will work out after that, but I really only have about two weeks before I meet up with Leanne and Vanessa, so I'm beginning to wonder if it's worth my time to go down to Spain. We'll see!
