    On Monday we went to San Diego Zoo. We had both been looking forward to this since we got here. It definitely did not disappoint. Kirsty had looked up all the shows and attractions so we had an itinerary so we didn't miss anything. We walked up to the zoo and got there nice and early.     Well, we are almost home driving in the Arizona desert, 1800 miles in 3 days. Here are some trip stats.
    8700 miles
    15 states and Washington DC
    46 RV nights
    7 cruise ship nights
    3 hotel nights
    2 national parks
    over 10 museums
    over 15 historic sites
    8 famous home tours
    music genres- Cajun, country, blues, early rock and roll
    new foods-fried green tomatoes, crawfish, hush puppies
    # bug bites-can't count that high!

    ... for us. Wouldn't have worked before cell phones!
    When we got to Laguna Beach, we spent some time in their downtown area and then met Kevin Brown for lunch at the Coyote Grill. Good lunch, company and margaritas with a view of the ocean. After lunch, Kevin gave us a tour of the town and then we were off to Del Mar. We don't have any plans for the next two days but I am sure we will find something to do in the San Diego area!! ...

    ... an Aussie named Rhys from the Gold Coast- he runs a party club business and wanted us to go tonight (Thursday) $45 bucks, cover charges paid, 1 x comped drink at 6 clubs. Mechanical bull. PASS. We are all so tired. Maybe another day. Everyone was in search of a place to have a few drinks- the others headed into a jazz bar and Aaron and I went walking- we had a very lovely salted caramel Sunday ( shared ) and called it a night. Taxi home. Bed. San Diego ...
