... outside the van and watch for whales was such a joy. We did see the, even if they were a long way out. We ended up buying binoculars. We explored the towns of Ulmarra, Laurieton, Wauchope, Port Macquarie and discovered amazing lookouts at Doorigan National Park and Tacking Point. The views from those 2 lookouts were breathtaking. We would loved to have stayed longer, but because of the long weekend our site was already booked. We'll definitely one day be ...

... to get rid of it - but I go along with it anyway. It's actually pretty tasty (and does contain a few peas and carrot pieces), and not bad for $4! ... drive through sites and plenty of space. Told to choose our own site.

2:45pm Unhooked and we drove into Port Macquarie, 15kms south of this site.

Dinner and retire for the night, no TV reception, very little radio so it looks like the media player tonight.

... roof, it was like staying in someone's back garden! Nathan cooked a chicken in red wine sauce and pasta. We then walked over to the local RSL club but it was shut so we jumped in the girls camper and went in search for booze! We found the only liquor store open and experienced our 1st drive-through booze shop. We sat up until late drinking and chatting and laughing our heads off and finally went to bed and passed out. 7th April In the morning ...

... Knowing we would be in the dark I remembered a bike flashlight in the other room then lit a candle and by this time we thought we might as well go to bed. Other than the loud beeping from the smoke detectors every 15 seconds indicating power failure, pounding of the ocean waves, 90 km gale force winds, and torrential rains beating against the house, we attempted to get a few winks of sleep, relieved we were home safe and sound. We will not be so foolish to do that again. This morning ...
