Now at Wauchope and north of Capricorn. There is a pub, a petrol pump and a caravan park. we arrived early afternoon and celebrated our northerly position with a beer. ... of the time though going to the koala hospital in town (which not only is really good but also free), swimming in the pool in the rain, doing a yoga class in the front room (Jo is a yoga teacher) and then having a huge BBQ and drinking a lot. ... of foodies, who only eat one percent of all the eucalyptus trees in all of Australia. They're called food trees and take up to twelve years to mature in order for them to be harvested. There's a whole range of gum trees, that take their fancy, but none of them is supposed to taste as delicious as the paperbark tree. You could compare it to eating apple pie :) A real treat!
