    ... So today, up early, 07:30 because we need to be at Fishermans Wharf to catch the 10:00 ferry to Alcatraz. We need to walk, catch a street car and walk again.     ... for dinner. San Fran at night was...interesting. We stayed right near Union Square, tourist area and home to a HUGE Macy's. There are lots of homeless and street performers, even someone playing a bagpipe. There was a young guy dressed as Michael Jackson, and he was singing and dancing.     We wake up really early because we have a boat at 7.30 to watch the whales, with Chris' Whale Watching tours. Anouk is really asleep, yann is really excited and matheo falls asleep as we leave the marina. After around half hour we see some humpback whales jumping outvofcthe water, it is amazing.     Woke up feeling like absolute ****! Tonsils all swollen. Turns out last night got outa hand. Determined not to waste the day, we force md ourselves downstairs to get some free coffee with powdered milk which just did the job. Grabbed a free map and strolled our way out into San Fran.
