... Harbour Bridge. The Southbank area has been developed since we were here, there are walkways and a Big Wheel and although it looks very pleasant we stay on our side of the river. And we continue our perambulation, stock up on a few items in the pharmacy, quite shaming after all the planning we did that we have run out of a few things. We are obviously not the first cruise passengers in today as the lady behind the counter asked if we were off the ship and when we said ...

... clouds would come over now and then to cool us down. Decided we'd head back to the ferry as it was too hot.
Ferry took a little while to turn up and got quite full. Again, didn't take long to get back. Wen't to Woolworths to get some more food on the way back, then went and dropped it all off in the kitchen. Went and got the laptops and used the internet until about 6 when we were hungry.

Saw and stroked koalas, and kangaroos, wombats, saw dingos, flying fox bats, platypus, snakes and lizards. Saw beautiful baby kangaroo , Joey, in mums pouch, and feeding. Boat back down to city, then it rained so we visited the shops, I bought a dress, it is of course January sales. Just had supper, and will pop down to outside pool for a swim ...

We woke up to rain, and the forecast was for more, so we weren't too inspired to get out and about.

A visit to the local shopping centre seemed like a reasonable way to spend the morning, although clearly everyone in the area had the same idea (it's raining, well let's go get some Christmas shopping done then...), so after we'd checked out a variety of toy stores to see if we could get Lotte a ...

... There was Yorkshire pudding, pizza and pork sausages. It was so thoughtful and I know Ashleigh was really touched by their efforts. It's been so nice to be able to come here to the Hunt's house in Rothwell. At a time close to Christmas when we've both been feeling a bit homesick, every time we open the door here it's felt like coming home.

I remember talking to Anne and Peter over lunch at Bribie Island about what it was like when ...
