... so I could call my beautiful Mama (and avoid any heart attacks or meltdowns ) We made it to the little town of Cadiz, Ohio around 7:00pm and drove down a very long and unpromising dirt road until we found Harrison State Forest which has 7 free campsites! Today was a BIG travel day. We traveled nearly 600 miles and crossed 3 mid-west states (Illinois, Indiana and Ohio)! We added our 21st state to our list - West Virginia as we passed through that state very briefly on our way. The trip really was smooth thanks to very good weather and light traffic. The only place we had any trouble was passing through Columbus Ohio where we hit rush hour. Even with that it wasn't too bad. ...
