Wx - Overcast (Min: 5, Max: 8)

Today we visited the Museum of Flight, located a few kilometres south of downtown Seattle. This facility is amazing! Having never much of an aviation 'buff' like some of my friends (you know who you are...) I was amazed at the collection of aircraft and space memorabilia. The 'AirPark' has aircraft including the first Air Force One, the Concorde and the very first Boeing 747 and 737. Adjacent the 'AirPark' was the original ...

... are a couple of overly rambunctious toddlers that doesn't bode well for a quiet flight. I am glad that for the first time ever, I brought earplugs to help smooth out the rough spots that the drugs can't do. The one thing I hadn't counted on was the lady a few seats away talking to her carry-on luggage. Sure enough, just as the doors were closing, I see her walking down the aisle. ... in the evening. It was while up the Space Needle that my camera's SD card decided to develop some sort of nervous condition and stop working. Fortunately I had my iPad for photograph taking, and the hostel recommended a camera shop which I visited the next morning to buy a new SD card. ... picked up the undertone to his comment and then put her bag on the desk whilst she answered his questions. This seemed to irk the guy a bit, who gestured for her to remove it from his desk immediately! So then, when he turns to us and says 'OK, I just have one more question, who are you, and what have you done with this person?' pointing at Sophie's passport photo, we were somewhat concerned! Cue significant palpitations... It turned out to all be a joke ...

... 3 was pretty much only a driving day. A ridiculously beautiful driving day. We drove along the coast the whole way...redwood trees, the ocean, the sunset...it was amazing. We were on the road from the time we got up until we got to Eugene, Oregon that night. As great as it is to explore new places, my favorite time so far has been when we're just on the road driving. It's so peaceful. I liked Day 3.
