... became a little bit challenging. Within just a few congested minutes Marina had us out of the harbor, and enjoying the cool-ish summer breezes as we headed up the coast, toward Kalymnos. The very blue Aegean was only slightly wind rippled , without the presence of any current, and we leisurely cruised toward Paradise Bay. After about 3 hours, we arrived at a horseshoe shaped, high, barren, rocky cliff narrow bay, with only a couple of restaurants on the beach, and some ...

Woke up early to see the sun rising as we approached Turkey. Went on shore for a Diane and Tony tour which involves walking, taxis and getting lost but you see all the good stuff. ... my bed. He and I kept watching and listening to the sounds of Kos. The harbor walk was bustling with people, chattering, laughing and dancing their way to the look out spot at the end of the pier. Two large Blue Star immigrant ferries full of anxious refugees has departed, and yet there are so many 100s they have left behind, still waiting. The 200 + "tent city" on the beach is constantly changing, and g-r-o-w-i-n-g. Milena is bustling with activity today. Not only are we preparing ...

... in Kos. On the beach next to the Harbor, Jacques says there are more that 200 tents, as they are camping on the beach, waiting for the Blue Star Ferry line to take them to Athens. They are all peaceful, and not bothering anybody. I must admit, both the Turkish, and the Greek governments are handing the massively horrid, immense situation. I do feel sorry for all these thousands of wayward people. According to estimates, of just how many will be transported to Athens, and ...
