For a while it was summerly warm again, jumpers and trousers could be stowed into the bags again, towards the night and specially up in the heights, the cold came back and so the jumpers.

I plugged myself onto the iPod with a talking book and pretty much fell asleep after dinner. We arrived at Kagoshima at 8.04pm and made our way to the hotel next door. The room is much smaller than our previous ones but still bigger than the Kawasaki Nikko Hotel.

... to explore the north part of Kyushu (the south island of Japan). These days it is connected to the main island by Shinkansen and tunnel but in the past it was by conventional train and ferry. So there is a very good train museum commemorating this period. I am not whether to pleased or not but we saw a steam engine in immaculate condition the same age as me. I am not in a museum yet.
