... did my laundry here. I resupply here. I reacquainted with other hikers I know that I haven't seen for a while. They said that i look like i lost more weight. I feel that i have ever since I started doing 20-25 mile days again. My skinny pants are fitting me loose. Oh well. I will spend the night here and head out tomorrow morning as early as possible. Next town is Belden, 92 miles ...

I hauled ...

... about this dilemma. He said he actually got bitten by a mosquito in his penis while taking a ****. Wow!! Now that sucks. No pun intended. It rained hard and for a while last night too. My tarp works great. The monsoon weather persisted all day. There was localized storms all day. The hiking today was uneventful. If anything, I hiked thru the forest most of the day. However, the trail finally opened up again while hiking on this ridge. Definitely not the place to ...

... full of food. I swear I have lots of food. Gonna pig out this stretch. Thanks Jonathan. Leaving Echo Lake, the trail eventually takes you to Aloha Lake. This Lake was so beautiful. It looked like Thousand Island Lake in the High Sierra. It was surrounded by granite peaks and the lake had many small islands in it. The Lake was only at around 8500 feet, yet it looked and felt like it should be at 10,000 feet plus. Leaving Aloha Lake, the trail takes you ...
