    ... safely! Sheba loved all the smells from the car window and couldn’t wait to get out when we stopped. We got our packs on and headed out! So many amazing things to see along the way!     ... but it’s expensive. Gas/Diesel here is at a very good price. The manager, Pat, is no longer at the park which is too bad as they really don’t have an office anymore…just a sign to a trailer to sign in. This is the big downfall but don’t let it keep you from staying here. Super pleasant wooded, rustic park that I would definitely stay in again.

    So, off we go……….Oregon here we ...

    ... climbing up huge boulders up the face of a mountain. It was so incredibly fun and altough we ran out of time before we could get to the top, we got some outstanding views. We finished up with a beautiful swim in Sardine Lake on the way back down, then packed to head back to the Den.

    The Den is a cool place, filled with other trail crew on various projects around the area. I have free accommodation for the next few nights as well which is great. Our crew ...
