... our bags but they let us through without paying extra.

Terminal B was fairly quite for a Friday afternoon and we had plenty of time before our 2:30 boarding time. Had some lunch and a walk around. It's quaint they way they have rocking chairs available for waiting passengers.

Plane is on time and we are looking forward to Washington and a comfortable hotel as compared to our dorm room at Boston ...

... miles by taking the direct route home via I-10 and I 40 East. But it would have meant chances of even more cold, traversing the the midwest and the Eastern mountain ranges much further North. And much less fun, bumbling about on the bottom edge of the continent.
