The amount of bureaucratic red tape needed to travel to the country is already considerable (and expensive), and international confrontation between our governments could make it even harder. Nathan and I have instead decided to travel to Greece for the summer, exploring Athens and then island hopping in one of Greece's many chains of islands.

... The patron saint of Northern England, St. Cuthburt is a big deal in the Anglican Church. He lived in the 7th century AD, and was famous for healing, helping the poor and spreading Christianity in the the North.

I also showed off to dad the Cloisters of the Cathedral, famous for their appearance in the Harry Potter films. All too soon it was time for dad to head home to Ottawa, via London. But not before a quick stop at Durham's best doughnut shop - Krispy Kreme.
