All packed and ready to go!
... Christmas day! I'll be in Indonesia for nearly two weeks. It'll be a welcomed break from the frigid Hokkaido winter. My arms and back are a bit sore from shoveling out my driveway after yesterdays blizzard, so I'm really looking forward to a authentic Balinese massage! My ride to the station should be here any moment, so let the fun begin!

The Triangles of Moerenuma Park
... because it might ignite the place and "kaboom", haha! Then there was this big crater in the ground that looks like a meteor fell down on it. I called it the real "Area 51".

The next day we went to Otaru! Tried to find the creepy music box place but failed. It was quite a hot day so we wandered around, bought some suncream and ate rather delicious strawberry ice cream. I can't wait to visit that place in winter again. It's awesome in summer but I think it'd be beautiful with snow everywhere. Otaru is kind of like a European town - it really doesn't look Japanese at ...
