    ... which was 6:30 PST. But I still was up to midnight. Darn River Monsters -- watched four episodes, one of which I slept through the last half. I learned about lampreys -- creepy and how they are invading some of the waters of the Pacific NW. They use their suction to climb waterfalls!     ... So I waited to make sure I was in the right place. We had a good visit. Her husband joined us and told me he was mad at me because I was late -- he had wanted to plot mischief against Cherie. The dog, Roxie, loved me but also loved to lick me. Hmmm I thought I left the licking dog behind. Her favorite was my right arm which had been wrapped so it was probably sweaty. The cat also made friends which is rare for her. So I have been accepted.

    ... cleared our schedule for a day or two, but I feel sorry for Ben who'll have to jump back into school and play rehearsal on Monday. Of course, with all the sleep we let him get, he should be fine and perhaps better rested than he would be had he been home!

    ... got seats on the RDU-ORD flight, and was told that we’d have to get seats on the Frankfurt flight from Lufthansa. She tried online and couldn’t do it, so she called and was told that if you’re in any of the five lowest fare classes you can’t get seats until 23 hours before the departure time.
