          ... as Ken pronounced, and insisted the waiter tell the chef, the filet to be the best he’d ever had.
          Show was the ship’s singers and dancers who did a great job, as far as Cathy and I were concerned. When we saw Carolyn (one of our very old tablemates) and asked her how she liked it, she said “I give them a 10 for enthusiasm and a -5 for music”. Grumpy….really hoping we get the change in dinner times :)

          ... was a bit of food left over which I put into a takeaway container and gave to a man on the street aoan the way home. He was chuffed but I hope he liked garlic.

          There are many homeless people on the streets here and you get asked for spare change on just about every corner. There are also many obviously mentally disturbed people wandering around muttering and behaving strangely. I wonder what help there is if ...

          ... foot (1.5 meter) by 9 foot (2.75 meter) cells was suffocating. The space was tiny and dismal with only a couple of shelves, a small bed, a toilet, a tiny sink with only cold water and a tiny writing desk. The heavy barred doors added to the oppressiveness of the prison. It's impossible to imagine how they lived in such quarters.
